The crappie snare rod is changing the mindset of “Panfish” anglers across the “Ice Belt”. For many years fisherman felt the only effective way to ice big “Panfish” was to be quick on the trigger with micro plastics, and small tackle. The quick inhale and exhale of a Crappie made the traditional “Dead-stick” largely ineffective. We set out to change that with the help of our great staff!! The Crappie snare rod is so sensitive even the most finicky “Panfish” can’t detect any additional pressure when first inhaling the presentation. The fish inhales the bait and sits motionless. Then often times that fish slowly swims away before eventually feeling pressure built into the back end of the rod. The fish then spooks and often times ends up hooking itself in the process. While of course this rod can be used right at your side as a second rod, it is incredibly effective used remotely allowing anglers to cover more water and catch more fish!!
